Erika Lessey Chen is a licensed physician and herbologist of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Erika received her Master of Sciences at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco and is also a Certified Massage Therapist in Orthopedic Tui Na Massage. She is a member of the California State Oriental Medical Association and is licensed by the State Board of California and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Her clinical experience includes work at many centers around the Bay Area, including Ravenswood Health Clinic of East Palo Alto, Haight Ashbury Free Clinic, and Charlotte Maxwell Clinic for women with cancer.

The Lotus Center is a holistic care center with an interdisciplinary staff of physicians. The Lotus Center won Best Acupuncture Clinic from The Bay Guardian in 2003.
